PNP stands for Provincial Nomination Program. It is a program under which an applicant gets a nomination from a province to apply for the PR visa. There is a very common and popular saying about the Canadian PR visa, that it is very easy to get a PR visa through a PNP, and you can get a PNP nomination even with a less IELTS score, but that is not the fact. PNP nomination has become a scam in the immigration industry. Getting a PNP nomination is very very very difficult. Lets get a bit deep into this.
There are two types of Provincial nominations. One is the Express Entry linked PNP, where you get a nomination from a province if your application is filed in the Express Entry Pool and the other one is the individual PNP program conducted by provinces individually on their websites, it has to do nothing with your Express Entry profile. The crux about both the PNP programs is that they work on the skilled workers required in an economy of a province. Some factors which lands you a PNP nomination are your CRS score, your French score, your work experience etc. There is no guarantee and there is nothing fixed in the PNP process.
The requirements of every province changes from time to time as it is not necessary that if a province has invited an applicant with keeping a certain factors in consideration, will again invite applicants with same profile. But here starts the game. Whenever a client of a consultant gets a PNP nomination, then that consultants starts marketing and promotion keeping the same profile as a center of attraction that this particular province is inviting this particular profile, but not disclosing the fact the requirements of every province changes from time to time as for every province to run their economy in a better way, applicants with different profession are required.
So do your own research thoroughly before hiring any consultant for Individual PNP. Also the individual PNP submission window sometimes merely opens for a few hours or minutes and also as per the Canadian timings, which means when the window is open for the submission, your consultant might be sleeping peacefully at his home. So keep PNP your last hope for the Canadian PR visa.
